Freeway Series Shifts To The O.C. – As Scott Kazmir Makes What Could Be The Most Important Start In Spring Training History

The Freeway Series shifts to Orange County tonight as the Angels look to sweep the California version of the highway classic  as Scott Kazmir takes the hill. Many feel this could be a make or break start for Kazmir and his hopes to solidfy his spot in the rotation. That maybe a stretch as Kazmir’s spot as the de facto 5th starter is likely safe ( for now) but another horrrendous outing could cause Mike Scioscia to consider some immediate alternatives. Needless to say I can’t  recall a Spring Training start carrying this much importance since Hector was a pup.

As far as “drama” goes in spring training  this should be an  interesting one  to watch, first pitch is at 7:05
