So just when the Angels appeared dead in the water last week – Mark Trumbo’s walk off laser has given them a life preserver. With a 7-1 win Sunday setup by a sterling pitching performance by journeyman Jerome Williams the Angels have now won four straight and have crept to within four games of first place Texas. Offensively the Angels were led by the suddenly red hot Peter Bourjos who homered in all 3 games against the O’s while going 9-for-16 with five RBI and five runs scored.
