Series Preview: Boston Comes To Town

The Angels and Red Sox renew their acquaintances after their series last week in which the Angels swept Boston in Fenway including that crazy series finale game. This is a very different team that the Angels will be facing though. Gone are Adrian Gonzalez and Josh Beckett to the Dodgers in the biggest post trade deadline deal ever.

The Angels come in having won four of their last six even though they have lost two straight. The starting pitching has improved which is a good sign. The bullpen is another story, blowing another lead on Saturday.

The Red Sox come in off of winning three of four against the Royals at Fenway. The Red Sox are building for next year, especially coming off of the trade.

Let’s take a look at the pitching matchups:

Today: Clay Buchholz vs Jered Weaver
Wednesday: TBD vs C.J. Wilson
Thursday: TBD vs Zack Greinke

All games are at 7:05PT/10:05 ET
