Before the Los Angeles Angels suit up for their final exhibition game on Saturday, March 29, the Angels Baseball  Foundation will holds its fourth annual 5k and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk for charity. The first 5,500 registered participants will receive a T-shirt, ticket voucher, and commemorative medal.

The 5k begins in the Angels Stadium parking lot adjacent to Orangewood Ave. and winds through various streets before runners jog on the field’s warning track. Conversely, the one mile run/walk heads in the opposite direction with participants passing under the big “A” and into the stadium.

Event day registration begins at 6 a.m. but packets can be picked up on March 28 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The latter is highly recommended in avoiding long lines.

Tickets for the 5k are $40 while fun run tickets cost $30. Free parking will be available beginning at 5:30 a.m.
