Weaver In As An All-Star… He Just Can’t Play
By Unknown author

At least the right thing was, finally, done. Jered Weaver, who Joe Girardi initially overlooked in favor of much less deserving people, has been named the All-Star he rightfully is. Unfortunately, with his (lackluster) start on Sunday it means he’ll be unable to play Tuesday night, but he’ll at least be introduced along with the other All-Stars before the game, and he’ll be known as a 2010 All-Star.
The fact that he wasn’t initially included on the team is pretty mind-boggling still, though I suppose it is too much to expect the guys in charge of baseball teams to know who is truly performing well, right?
