Angels Community Outreach

Having come from working in the realm of major league sports, nothing touched my heart more than being a part of the community outreach efforts of the team that I worked for. There were so many times where I felt so proud to work for the Seattle Supersonics and the Oklahoma City Thunder when we were out in the community helping those who are less fortunate.
From time to time, I will be posting articles regarding the community efforts that the Angels put forth throughout the year. I feel it is very important to recognize that the sports industry isn’t just about putting fans in the seats and selling as many t-shirts as possible. Having worked inside of major league team offices, I can tell you with first-hand knowledge that each team really does care about their community. When we have the time, we really do enjoy being a part of outreach programs and youth programs that enrich the lives of the people that we are serving.
Here’s a link to the latest of the Angels’ community efforts. It’s a great read…
