Conflicting stories in the news world today…
The Boston Globe is reporting that Adrian Beltre AND Rafael Soriano will be signed by the Angels.
On the other hand,The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Texas Rangers are willing to go an extra year and $20mil to $30mil over the current offer from the Angels.
Again I ask… what will Moreno do? Where do the Angels actually stand? Is Moreno going to stand up and shell out the money necessary to sign a VERY good player in the position that the team most desperately needs, or is he going to crawl back into the shadows and plot his next move much like he did with the Crawford deal?
