Hank Conger Makes The Club As Angels Finalize 25 Man Roster

Hank Conger and Chris Petitt were among the notables to make the Angels 25 man roster Mike Scioscia announced today. It will be interesting to see how much playing time Conger gets to start the season. Both Jeff Mathis and Bobby Wilson hit well this spring and will likely receive the lion’s share of playing time at catcher. However Conger’s potential is there so he could be one to watch early on.
Other roster notes: Kendrys Morales, Joel Pineiro , Scott Downs, and outfielder Reggie Willits will all start the season on the DL. Pineiro is expected back by April 8th and Downs and Willits should be set to return shortly there after. Morales resumed baseball activities on Tuesday and should be back by May.
