Angels Baseball Is Back! Halos Travel To Kansas City To Face The Royals

Ahh yes! Baseball is officially back! Catch all the action as the Halos Take on The Royals today at 1:10 PST.
Jered Weaver takes the hill for the Angels vs. Luke Hochevar. This year more than ever it will be important for the Angels to get off to a hot start as they almost need to remember how to win again. The Angels have what would appear to be a favorable early season schedule starting off with series vs. the Royals, Rays , Blue Jays and Indians. The Royals however are coming off a sizzling spring (20-10-1) and will be no slouch. Time for the Halos to get down to business.

- Game 1 : Jered Weaver vs. Luke Hochevar
- Game 2: Dan Haren vs. Jeff Francis
- Game 3: Ervin Santana vs. Kyle Davies
- Game 4: Scott Kazmir vs. Bruce Chen
- Royal to Watch – Kila Ka’aihue. I’m partial to Hawaii, So I’ve been high on Ka’aihue for a while now. He showed great patience and power in the minors and is poised to have a breakout season in 2011. He mashed this spring clubbing 7 home runs and knocking in 20.
- Holy Halo – Most of the Angels are hot heading into this series but I’m going with Peter Bourjos. He seems locked in at the plate and I can see him having a big opening weekend.
