Tuesday Twitter Stalking: Kevin Jepsen Is Glad Jordan Walden Is Closing Too

As we predicted Mike Scioscia made the necessary switch employing  Jordan Walden in place of Fernando Rodney as the Halos closer. Walden gave a non heart burn or Rolaids inducing performance Monday as he retired the Rays in order preserving  a 5-3 win for the Angels on  just 12 pitches. It was a drama free succinct performance the way saves should be. For his effort Walden was blessed with the following Tweet from bullpen mate Kevin Jepsen

"everyone give it up to @JWal51 for closin the door tonight!! Filthy!!!"

Kudos to Jepsen for propping up his teammate and to Mike Scioscia for making an obviously  needed change. Scott Kazmir could be next.
