Vernon Wells keyed the Angels rally in the 12th inning with a one out single, and scored the winning run when Jeff  Mathis sealed the deal with a walk off sac fly, as the Angels beat the Indians 4-3 Wednesday. The 12th inning single  was the first and only hit of the day for Wells (1-5) and raised his season average to .102. The Angels have to be hopeful that Wells can start to turn it around. The Halo offense was rather meager this entire series mustering just 6 runs and 15 hits during the 3 games against Cleveland. Vernon Wells resembling his 2010 self could go a long way to providing immediate help. The pitching,  both starting and relief has been superb of late. However, an influx of run support would help alleviate  the need for the staff to pitch near flawless baseball in order for the Angels to win.
