It’s Break Out The Broom Day At The Big A – As Red Sox Look To Sweep

The Angels came into their 4 game series with the Red Sox Thursday , riding high, playing well and in first place. Well ever since the boys from Boston touched down in the OC the Halos have been brutal. The Halos have NEVER had a lead this entire series. They haven’t hit , they’ve played spotty defense and perhaps worst of all Ervin Santana looks like his good year, bad year career path will continue.

Mike Scioscia appears to be showing cause for concern and has juggled his lineup moving Albert Callaspo (absurdly) to cleanup, Torii Hunter to the 3 spot and Bobby Abreu to the 2 hole. The Angels turn to Matt Palmer of all people to avoid the sweep. John Lackey takes the hill for the Sox looking to keep his former mates out of the win column for a 4th straight day.
