Jered Weaver was brilliant across 9 shutout innings as the Halos beat the A’s 5-0 Monday Night. With the Angels looking listless, fresh off a closed door meeting and a four game sweep at the hands of the Red Sox, the team badly needed a shot in the arm. Enter Jered Weaver the team ace to shut down the A’s and put the Angels back on the winning path. With his performance Weaver became the first pitcher in Major League history to go 6-0 this early in the season.
