Mark Trumbo and Peter Bourjos came up with timely hits before Erick Aybar delivered a clutch 2 run double during a 3 run bottom of the 8th inning that saw the Angels take a 6-4 lead into the 9th against the tribe. Jordan Walden allowed one run but managed to strikeout Carlos Santana to notch his 6th save, as the Angels beat Cleveland 6-5. More importantly the win gave Angels Manager Mike Scioscia his 1,000th career win ( all with the Angels) and the Halos took 2 of 3 games to win the series vs. Cleveland.
