Same Song In Florida As The Angels Fail In The Clutch….. Again

The Angels did it again Tuesday night. They managed to rack up 13 hits against Marlin pitching but as been the case in so many games this season the big hits were few and far between in the Angels 5-2 loss. In total the Halos went 1-15 with runners in scoring position in route to stranding 13 base runners on the night. For the season the Angels are now hitting .229 with runners in scoring position second to only the team directly above them ( Seattle at .214) in the standings. Something has got to give. It’s hard to blame Mickey Hatcher for the Angels hitters failures in the clutch – but its clear something is not right with the teams approach with men on base.

It seems like almost every night its the Same Song. Where’s Shock G and Tupac when you need em?
