Mike Trout Is Being Recalled As Vernon Wells Possibly Heads To The DL

The LA Times is reporting that Mike Trout will likely be recalled from Double A Arkansas this afternoon as Vernon Wells is likely headed to the DL. If true the move would give the Angels a chance to play Trout in left field everyday matching him up with Peter Bourjos in Center and Torii Hunter in right. That may be  the best defensive outfield in all of baseball.

Vernon Wells will then likely be sent on a minor league rehab stint to see if he can somehow figure out how to hit again or maybe remember how to take a pitch (just 15 walks in 2011) from time to time )?
