Peter Bourjos Walk Off Hit Propels Halos To 5th Straight Win

Peter Bourjos delivered a clutch bases loaded single in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday night that gave the Halos a 5-4 walk off victory. The win was their 5th straight and moved the Angels to within 3.5 games of first place Texas. Th hit capped a fairly productive night offensively for the Angels Howie Kendrick homered and Tripled and Torii Hunter and Maicer Izturis both had Multi hit games in route to a 12 hit night. For an offense that has struggle to string hits together it was a solid night against Sox starter Mark Buehrle.
