Angels Off Season Makeover Continues And The Monday Links

The Angels continued their off season front office upheaval over the weekend announcing that Abe Flores (Director of Player Development) was the latest to be let go. Flores who had been in the role for the past four years was accepting of the move telling ESPN LA:

"“It’s normal protocol when there’s a new GM for him to bring in his own people, and I’ve been asked to step aside,. “I totally understand that.”"

So the Angels search for a new GM continues.  When hired – that person will have a full scale renovation job to complete.. Exciting times.
