The Angels continue to rebuild the Front Office and it looks mighty impressive. I guess. It’s going to take some time to gauge the success of new General Manager Jerry Dipoto and his crew. And even then, I doubt I will really understand what it is exactly that assistant GMs Scott Servais and Matt Klentak do. But, they all seem to have have shiny resumes and are well respected around the league as well as with the scribes.

Klentak is the newest addition after leaving the Orioles to join the Angels on Wednesday…

"Before joining the Orioles, Klentak spent four years in Major League Baseball’s labor relations department, where he provided advice and interpretations on the collective bargaining agreement and on baseball rules to all 30 clubs. He spent 2003 in the Colorado Rockies’ baseball operations department, where he gained experience in video and advance scouting."

Four years studying the collective bargaining agreement? I think the Angels found their “loophole” guy for that mess of a new CBA. Klentak also has an economics degree from Dartmouth and is JUST 31-years-old.

Cut it, you guys. All of these Ivy League, phenom nerds are really starting to make me look bad.
