Round two of the Freeway Series begins tonight as the Angels and Dodgers will wrap up interleague play for the 2012 season. The Angels are 10-5 so far in interleague play, including taking two of three from the Dodgers last week in Los Angeles. The Angels come into this series five games behind the division leading Texas Rangers. The Angels lead the Dodgers in the all-time series with a 52-37 record and won the past five series. The Angels have won the last six consecutive at home and look to continue that streak.

The Dodgers come into this series after being swept in Oakland by the Athletics. They have also lost six of their past nine games. The Dodgers were only able to muster eight hits and two runs in their series with Oakland. They have really missed Matt Kemp in the lineup, who won’t be back until around the all-star break. There are rumors that they are looking for a bat to help their lineup, so that is something to watch as we are five weeks from the trading deadline.

Here are your pitching match-ups for the weekend:

Friday: Dan Haren vs Chad Billingsley

Saturday: Ervin Santana vs Chris Capuano

Sunday: Garrett Richards vs Aaron Harang

Friday’s game is at 7:05 PT. Saturday is at 4:15 PT and Sunday is at 12:35 PT.
