Halo Highlights- Angels Come Back and Win Series vs Dodgers

The Angels like to make things interesting at times. They did that yesterday as well. They came back twice and finally overtook the Dodgers to end the freeway series 5-3. The Angels are really starting to catch fire, winning 11 of their past 15 games.
The scoring started right away in the top of the first as with two out, Andre Ethier doubled and Bobby Abreu drove him in. The Dodgers increased their lead to two after two singles and a sac bunt, Dee Gordon drove in a run with a groundout. In the bottom of the second after Erick Aybar walked, Peter Bourjos hit his fourth home run of the year to tie the game. In the bottom of the fifth, Mike Trout singled and stole second and Albert Pujols drove him home with a single. The Dodgers don’t quit either and in the top of the sixth, Juan Rivera doubled, went to third on a groundout and then Adam Kennedy hit a sac fly to tie the game. In the bottom of the seventh the Angels got a little two out magic. Pujols walked and Kendrys Morales was hit by a pitch. Mark Trumbo drove in Pujols with a single and Howard Kendrick drove Morales in with a single of his own. Ernesto Frieri continued his dominance out of the bullpen, picking up a four out save. He has yet to allow a run as a member of the Angels.
The Angels embark on a east coast road trip and will play 18 of their next 21 on the road. They start out going to Baltimore for two.
