Halo Highlights- Is Dan Haren Back?

Zack Greinke had to like what he saw from his new teammates last night. Shortly after acquiring the ace, Dan Haren pitched like the ace he’s been throughout his career, going 6 innings, allowing only one run and striking out six in the Angels 3-1 win over the Rays. Haren is 2-0 since returning from the DL. Maybe he just needed the rest. If Haren, Greinke, Jered Weaver and C.J. Wilson are all on their game, its the deepest rotation in the American League.
Jeff Keppinger got the scoring started with a solo homer. The Angels got all their runs in the third when Mike Trout started a two out rally. (stop me if you heard that one before). Trout singled and Torii Hunter reached on a bunt single. Albert Pujols brought everyone home with a double. Kendrys Morales drove Pujols in with a single and was thrown out at second trying to stretch it out. Pujols had three hits in this one and even stole a base. The Angel bullpen gave up one hit in three innings of work.
A battle of lefties is on the docket tonight as Matt Moore will take on Wilson in game two. First pitch is at 6:05PT/9:05ET.
