Mike Trout kicked off the first with a walk. Torii Hunter singled and Albert Pujols‘ double brought them both in. The Red Sox got one of the runs back when after a single and two walks, Mike Aviles hit a sac fly. The Angels got two more in the fourth when after singles by Pujols and Hunter, Mark Trumbo and Alberto Callaspo followed it up with two singles of their own. They added another in the fifth when a run came in on Trout’s double play. In the sixth, James Loney hit his fifth homer of the year for the final run.

The Angels now head to Safeco to take on the Mariners this weekend. Dan Haren and Kevin Millwood will duel at 7:10PT/10:10ET
