Bullpen News: There was good news and there was bad news today coming out of the Angels bullpen and it deals with free agent imports. Ryan Madson‘s MRI over the weekend was clean so he was able to throw and off flat ground today. The bad news is on Sean Burnett though it’s not too bad. Burnett has stiffness in his low back and is day to day.

Hamilton on Texas: Well, the first weekend series of the year and every one after in Texas for the next five years. Josh Hamilton talked about how Dallas is more of a football town and that the fans have been spoiled by the Rangers run of late. He clarified that today saying that the true fans won’t boo him when he comes back. To be honest, I’ve never been to Dallas so I don’t really know. If any of you reading this are please leave a comment at the bottom. I would imagine football is more popular in Texas than baseball, especially college, but I’m sure Dallas has its hardcore baseball fans as well. I will say it doesn’t make Hamilton look good in saying those kinds of things after leaving.

No Lohse: Angels GM Jerry Dipoto was again asked about free agent pitcher Kyle Lohse. According to’s Alden Gonzalez he said; “We like our present rotation and are not actively seeking to make any alterations. The Lohse rumors need to subside and hopefully they will.
