When the Los Angeles Angels revealed their 2014 promotion schedule, fans immediately looked at April 1st with a bit of uncertainty. Was the team really giving away a Mike Trout bobblehead at just the second home game of the season or were they pulling the ultimate April Fools’ Day joke?

Well, those fans can rest at ease a bit not that the team has officially pulled the curtain back on this beauty, per the team’s Twitter feed.

Ain’t that beaut?! It is sure to get the fans through the turnstiles!

Trout enters the 2014 baseball season on the back of two consecutive runner-up finishes in the American League Most Valuable Player voting. His 2013 campaign was proof positive that the Angels young slugger was not a fluke, and was possibly the most electrifying player in the league, a threat at the plate, on the bases, and in the field.

Now Mike Trout is a threat to take over your desktop, sure to remind you that baseball’s best player wears an Angels uniform 162 times a year.
