The Angels were the best team in baseball during the regular season last year. But, a lot went right for that team despite injuries. You can’t expect that to happen two years in a row, so Dipoto addressed the depth and acquired much more middle infield and starting pitching depth. On top of that value for this season, many of the players will be around for a long time helping the Angels thanks to their youth.
