Mike Trout or Will Ferrell? The Angels Tough Decision.

One is a 23-year-old MVP winner who is often compared to the greats in the game. The other is a 47-year-old Mark Twain Prize winner for American Humor with mad comedic chops. The Angels have a tough decision to make between the incumbent Mike Trout and challenging Will Ferrell. The good news is they can’t lose either way.
Mike Trout is a homegrown talent who has endeared himself to fans with his humility and big smile. Ferrell is a hometown product from Irvine who has endeared himself to fans all over the world with his impressions and unforgettable characters. The difficulty comes from the them both naturally playing centerfield. Every team would be lucky to have either player but the versatility of Ferrell could bring the possibility of him filling in as a utility player for the Angels. In one day he played all ten positions and did a little coaching as well.
Being an older rookie likely put added pressure on Ferrell who struck out in his two at bats, but he didn’t seem to take those troubles to the field where he made a nice play in center and pitched to a 0.00 ERA. His weaknesses are a fastball, curveball, changeup, slider, balls thrown off the plate, balls in the strike zone and he is susceptible to defensive shifts. His strengths are his arm, clubhouse presence and versatility.
Whoever the Angels go with at center this year Angels fans will be highly entertained.
UPDATE
The Angels apparently went with youth over beauty as they have traded Will Ferrell to the Cubs for a washing machine. The moves a bit of a surprise as the Angels could have used his presence but it does fill the hole left by the departing clubhouse laundry attendant.
