Coming into the season many experts tabbed the White Sox as a potential World Series team. Fast forward almost 6 months, and Chicago looks like the furthest thing from a postseason team. With struggles continuing to grow, it is a strong possibility that there will be a fire sale from the club. Cabrera has been one of the problems for the White Sox, hitting just under .250 with only 1 HR. This guy was an All-Star last year and has had a proven track record in the league so its unrealistic to think he completely lost it at the dish. More than likely, Cabrera would benefit from a change of scenery and that change could end up in an Angels uniform. Besides the $13 million price tag on him this year, there isn’t much to not like with him in LF next to Trout. If Chicago keeps tanking, he will be moved and it probably won’t take a great offer either.
