Angels hanging at .500

There’s a win, then a loss, a win, then a loss. That seems to be the pattern amongst the Angels squad during the month of June. The inconsistency has been shown as the offense can explode in one game and then suddenly disappear the next outing.
The only consistent offense for the Angels has come from their two superstars; Mike Trout and Albert Pujols. Pujols has helped the offense with his home run streak, which he has hit five in the last seven games. Meanwhile Trout, has been coming out of a somewhat slump, with only one RBI and one HR in his last seven games.
The pitching has had similar inconsistency throughout the month of June. Starter CJ Wilson has been a prime example. In his start against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Wilson pitched 8 innings only giving up one earned run. However, his last start against the Houston Astros, he only lasted 3 innings and gave up seven earned runs on eight hits.
The inconsistency has been seen here in the month of June. So far however, the Astros have been the only real threat in the division so far. The Angels need hitting be contributed from the entire lineup as well as consistent starts from their starters. With Jared Weaver on the DL, the others need to step up, in particular Wilson.
