Sometimes the best money spent, is money kept. Hard to believe, but pretty much all of the teams that won the offseason are the laughing stock of the MLB right now. The Red Sox invested a ton of money into Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez in hopes of building a lineup that scored 100 runs a night, what have they gotten? A last place team with a dysfunctional clubhouse. The San Diego Padres seemingly shipped their whole farm system out for win now players with high price tags. None of it has worked and has led to a team that could enter the rebuilding process very quickly. Next up, the Chicago White Sox. It seems like the Cubs and White Sox have finally switched places, with the White Sox now looking like the laughing stock of the windy city. Manager Robin Ventura and the rest of the high priced free agent pick ups could soon find themselves in different uniforms.
