Angels Trade Deadline Preview: Breakdowns of Every Possible Trade

Trade rumors are both a gift and a curse. They either get your hopes up or make fans furious. When its all said and done, trade rumors are nothing more than months of speculation in the format of a rollercoaster. The Angels are one of the teams that we have seen been mentioned in many different scenarios. Up until about a week ago, it was an idea that the organization might become sellers at the deadline. But a lot happens in a week. And that philosophy has changed, with a recent streak of wins and GM Jerry Dipoto resigning it looks like the team is going to be active buyers.

The Angels are within striking distance of the first place Houston Astros, and it looks like this race will come down to the wire. Some of the needs for the Halos reside in offense. Ideally they pick up two bats that can play LF or DH to help provide some run production.
