Why it will happen: Revere fits the bill for the type of player the Angels are looking for and he could solidify the LF position for the foreseeable future. Besides the need, he would provide a consistency at the leadoff spot and help to set the table for Pujols & Trout. At 27 years old, Revere is a good value pick up with a very cheap contract. The Phillies are looking to rebuild and the Angels have a decent crop of prospects they could package that might make it an acceptable trade.

Why it won’t happen: All of the MLB is aware that the Phillies are going to be big time sellers in the coming weeks. With lots of offers from teams better positioned than the Angels, they just simply might not be able to match other offers.
