1. Numbers don’t lie 57-43
The top reason is something that cannot be argued: Success on the field. Since interleague play began in 1997 the Angels are 57-43 lifetime against the Dodgers. Literally the Angels, in 100 all-time head-to-head matchups against the Dodgers, have the clear better record. They hold the longest winning streak in the series with 6 from June 22nd of 2003 through June 26th, 2004 and during that span tied the series largest victory, beating the Dodgers 13-0 on June 25th. The Angels have won 10 season series while the Dodgers have only won 4 series, and the two teams have split their season series 4 times. There is not much more you can say than that.
When all the talking is over and the boys step on the field, the Angels are the better team more often than not. So now when you start to hear the Dodger fans start to chirp and trust me you will. You have a little more to fight back with and say to them. Just remember that if you’re at Dodger Stadium or the Big A, this is all in good fun and it should never go too far and become personal. You never know what a Dodger fan is capable of! Have fun and Go Angels!!!
