Robinson Cano signed a massive contract with the Mariners last season and for the foreseeable future they will be forking over a ton of money. His 2015 salary is good enough to account for 20% of the teams total payroll, which is saying a lot with guys like King Felix and Nelson Cruz on the roster. Though it was a slow start to the season, Cano has rebounded nicely and been one of the best hitters since the All Star break. He most likely isn’t worth all this money, but Robby Cano is the premier player at this position regardless.
