Grant Green

Grade: D

Green has never been able to really get his feet under him at the major league level. He shows much promise in the minors, but has not yet been able to transfer that to the bigs.

Green is known for his ability to hit, so to try and maximize his usage, the Angels have used Green at every position except right down the middle. Green has never played center field, pitched or caught for the Angels in his major league career, but he has logged time at all other six positions for the Angels.

Green was designated for assignment after the team lost game 162 and was eliminated from making the playoffs. He will have a lot of work to do to make it back onto the roster next year.
