Grade: D-

Finally, the last Angel to see significant time at third was Conor Gillaspie, who was acquired in a trade with the Chicago White Sox in late July.

Gillaspie’s below average numbers put him right next to Cowart and Kubitza as he batted .203 with one homer and nine RBIs. He also had a .946 fielding percentage with two errors in 42 chances.

He hit a big two-run home run to get the offense going against Cleveland one evening, but did little else at the plate or in the field and was subsequently DFAed in late August.

So there you have it. I hope the Los Angeles Angels come around and re-sign Freese as it is the smart thing to do.
