4. Chone Figgins (8 seasons, 936 games)

22.2 WAR, .291 BA, 1045 H, 31 HR, 341 RBI

“Figgy” was an all-around utility player that showed he could play pretty much anywhere the Angels wanted him. He took over third base for the majority of 2006-09 but he also spent time at the hot corner at some point in each of his eight seasons with the team.

Figgins’ small frame was never an issue as his speed was always among the best in the game. He stole a Major League-high 62 bags in 2005 and from 2004-10 he never stole fewer than 34.

His speed also led to more extra-base hits — his 53 triples are second most in franchise history behind Jim Fregosi and his 596 runs scored are 7th-most in team history.

His defensive WAR (3.2) in 2009 was second-best in the AL, the same year he led the league in assists with 314.

An exciting ball player to watch, Figgins’ work at third base might be even more impressive knowing that he never had time to master the position since he was busy bouncing around the diamond and playing successful defense everywhere else for the team.
