Garrett Richards – 15-12 3.65 ERA 176 K’s 1.24 WHIP.

Garrett Richards has ace-like stuff, but will he be able to put it all together in 2016.  Last season Richards pitched admirably leading the Angels in wins and strikeouts.  However, as a fantasy pitcher Richards is good, but not great.

Richards is ranked in the top 100 players overall which means he should be an 8th to 10th round pick.  I have a sneaking suspicion he will be a steal in the 8th round as I think he will post all-star like numbers as he did in 2014 before tearing his patella tendon.

Richards could even be a Cy Young Award candidate as he was in 2014.  He is definitely a sleeper and needs to be picked up by the 7th or 8th round.  We will see if he reaches that tremendous potential in 2016.
