Everybody loves Percy! Percival was a huge factor in the 2002 World Series Championship run. Percival currently ranks 10th all-time in career saves among closers with 378 (316 saves in 10 seasons as an Angel). He is one of only six pitchers in the Angels’ 55-year history to strike out at least 100 batters in a season without starting a game. He finished 4th in Rookie of the year voting, was a 4 time all-star, and was in consideration for the MVP in 2002.

Percival finished his career pitching for the Tigers, Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Rays and had a 35-43 record with a 3.17 career ERA with 781 strikeouts in 708.2 innings. Percival was a fan favorite among voting for the best closer in Angels history and its easy to see why.
