Nick Tropeano:

Tropeano is going to start in the minor leagues. Simple as that. Somewhere else, maybe he has a shot at cracking the rotation but there’s just too many people in front if him at this point. He’s only appeared in 12 major league games, 11 of those have been starts though. 2014 he started four games  with the Houston Astros before he was traded for former Angels catcher Hank Conger.  2015 he made spot starts in place of injured players and came out of the bullpen once. He was on a short leash during his starts though. Scioscia likes to keep his spot starters to the minimum, which is usually five innings.

I do think we will see Tropeano back in the big leagues sometime this season, however it may not be until the rosters expand in September.
