No 3. C.J. Wilson – The Pharcyde – Passin me by

One of the most optimistic players on the Angels from media day, C.J. Wilson was expected to produce big time at the plate this season. Wilson is on the heels of the five-year, $77.5 million deal he signed back in 2011. However, injuries have played a role in his productivity at the plate over the last two seasons and is expected to play a role again this season. The latest is the shut-down call made just before spring training, due to shoulder tendinitis. Wilson has resumed throwing only on flat ground, with no date set for him to return to a mound. There might be a significant chance he’ll miss the opening day game vs the Chicago Cubs.
