This year may be a make or break year for the Los Angeles Angels as expectations are high as usual, despite the fact the team did not sign a big name left fielder in the off-season.

The Angels marketing department has come out with a new slogan for this season “Every game matters” and since the Angels only finished one game out of the playoffs last season the slogan fits.  It also could be a ploy to try to increase ticket sales as they have dipped sharply over the past few seasons. This could be due to the economy, the rising cost of tickets, or just the fact that other than 2014 the Angels have underachieved over the past seven seasons.

The Los Angeles Angels have only made the playoff once in the past seven years (the aforementioned 2014), and that was short trip with the Angels losing three straight games to the Royals.

So I know all the games and series’ for that matter are important, but which ones have a little extra emphasis what are the most important series to win in their quest for a division title and hopefully a return to the World Series.
