Kole Calhoun has started off 2016 beautifully. He’s currently leading the Angels in overall hits with 12 and he has a stellar batting average of .387. Calhoun is the type of player that is a “guy behind the guy”, meaning he’s not the face of the franchise, but he’s a fan favorite.

Calhoun is a guy that can keep the inning going from the plate and finish an inning chasing after a foul ball in right field. With three runs scored, an OBP of .441 (club leader this season), and three RBI’s, Calhoun definitely the key under the door mat for the Angels title hopes in 2016.
