Yunel Escobar has been the biggest surprise for the Angels this season. He leads the Angels in runs scored with six. His OBP (.390) and BA (.306) are off the charts as well. It wasn’t expected that Kole Calhoun and Escobar would be the Angels biggest hitters this early in the season, however it’s good that the Angels have players are stepping up and helping Mike Trout and Albert Pujols with the batting. You have to be excited about the recent play of the Angels this season.
