4. Move Yunel Escobar to DH

Piggy-backing off the move to bring Pujols back to first, the Angels would open up the DH post. In what would be the ultimate save-all move, the LA Angels should consider moving Yunel Escobar to the DH and get him off of third base. Escobar has committed 11 errors on the season, he’s a liability on the fielding side of the ball.

However, he’s playing superb on the batting side. Escobar has scored 30 runs, 18 RBI’s, and has a OBP of .362. Plus, he’s leading the team in hits with 76, three more than Mike Trout. If the LA Angels move Marte (considering no trade is possible) to third, Pujols back to first, and Yunel to DH, it would make a difference instantly.

Escobar is considered a good player; but, the third-base position appears to be cursed for the LA Angels. By switching some inner parts and moving some pieces around (especially now with Simmons healthy) you can change the look and play of the LA Angels fielding.
