LA Angels: 5 ways to turn the season around

5. Don’t over do it with Lincecum

I can’t stress this enough, the LA Angels can’t overdo it with Tim Lincecum. Lincecum has the potential to completely change the pitching dynamic for the LA Angels. If “The Freak” lets his freak flag fly, the sky is the limit.

However, we don’t need another injured pitcher. The last thing we need is to see the Angels Stephen Strasburg this guy. I would much rather see the LA Angels take it slow with Lincecum and ease him into a rotation that works. In theory, he should only pitch once a week.

With Tropeano and Smith set to return before the All-Star break, the LA Angels have a lot of options and weapons to turn this season around. It will be fun to watch as the Angels look to climb their way to the top of the AL West once the lineup is back to 75% strength.
