The Los Angeles Angels have had one of their toughest first halves of the season in recent memory.  Between a plethora of injuries and ineffective play at times the Angels struggled to a 37-52 record. What is even more distressing is the Angels 16-26 home record in the 50th anniversary season of Angel Stadium.

The Los Angeles Angels have gotten off to a good start in the second half with a 7-0 and 1-0 shutouts en route to a 3-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox Friday night.  . Hopefully this will be a sign of good things to come in the second half of the season.

So here is a look at the what went right and what went wrong in the 1st half of the season as it is that time to give the mid-season report card grades for each position including manager Mike Scioscia and new general manager Billy Eppler.
