The Angels have scored more runs during the month of July than any other team in the MLB. July 2nd was the catapult to the record setting month, putting 22 runs on the board against the Boston Red Sox in Beantown.

The Angels are lead by Yunel Escobar with a .326 batting average on 117 hits. Mike Trout has knocked 19 homers, and Albert Pujols has 77 RBI’s this season.

Kole Calhoun and Andrelton Simmons have also carried the load for the Angels. C.J. Cron was playing his best baseball to date before a broken hand sidelined him July 8th.

The Angels will need to continue the hot-hitting streak throughout August to compete and win games. Pujols and Trout can lead the way as the Angels look to make a dash for the wild card spot.
