What Has Gotten Into the LA Angels As of Late?

Albert Pujols has been another key contributor to the Angels and their recent success.

It comes to a surprise that Albert Pujols has been quietly having a good season for the Angels thus far. This season alone, he has belted 21 home runs and he also leads the league in RBI’s with 86. At age 36, he still has the knack of being that RBI machine that he has been.

To give you a better perspective on Albert’s successful month of July, Albert has driven in 31 RBI’s in the last 30 games alone while he has also hit seven homers. Say what you want about Pujols, but his month of July and the first week of August was indeed a successful one.

However, Albert can be the victim of being either extremely hot or extremely cold. So, we shall see what’s in store for Albert next month. But for this recent stretch some of the success that the Angels have had recently has been due to the “Machine’s” improved play.
