Lastly, what would be an Angel post without mentioning Mike Trout and his success of course.

While this comes as no surprise, the LA Angels Mike Trout has once again nursed the Angels into having a successful month of July with his stellar play.

In Trout’s last 30 games, he has a batting average of .280 while his OBP is at .433. Like Albert, he has lead the way for the Angels in terms of offense as he has brought in 21 RBI’s along with five home runs for the month of July.

Also worth mentioning, his defense in the outfield has never been better. Which was on display Sunday afternoon when he robbed a grand slam with a circus catch in Seattle.
